This bill eliminates the Chief Diversity Officer position at the Department of Defense. It also prevents the department from creating any similar positions in the future using federal funds.
The Department of Defense and anyone currently holding the Chief Diversity Officer or Senior Advisor for Diversity and Inclusion positions at that department.
• The Chief Diversity Officer position at the Department of Defense is eliminated (Sec. 2a) • Federal money cannot be used to create any position in the Department of Defense that is the same as or substantially similar to the Chief Diversity Officer position (Sec. 3) • Federal money cannot be used to create any position in the Department of Defense that is the same as or substantially similar to the Senior Advisor for Diversity and Inclusion position (Sec. 3)
