SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting America’s 4 Distribution Transformer Supply Chain Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. ENERGY CONSERVATION STANDARDS FOR DIS- 6 TRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS. 7 Notwithstanding any provision of part B or part C 8 of title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (42 9 U.S.C. 6291 et seq.), the Secretary of Energy may not, 10 before the date that is 5 years after the date of enactment 11 of this section, propose, finalize, implement, administer, 12 or enforce any rule establishing any requirements under 13 such Act for distribution transformers that are different 14 than the requirements for distribution transformers under 15 the final rule titled ‘‘Energy Conservation Program: En- 16 ergy Conservation Standards for Distribution Trans- 17 formers’’ and published in the Federal Register on April 18 18, 2013 (78 Fed.
