Mr. RUBIO (for himself, Mr. HAGERTY, Mr. BRAUN, and Mr. SCOTT of Flor-
ida) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to
the Committee on Foreign Relations
A BILL
To amend the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 to prohibit
the provision of any foreign assistance for state sponsors
of terrorism.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PROHIBITION AGAINST FEDERAL FUNDING
3
FOR STATE SPONSORS OF TERRORISM.

Section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961
5
(22 U.S.C. 2371) is amended—
6
(1) in subsection (a), by striking ‘‘under this
7
Act’’ and all that follows through ‘‘Export-Import
8
Bank Act of 1945’’;
