TREATMENT OF AIRPORTS RECLASSIFIED FROM 1 SMALL TO MEDIUM HUB AIRPORTS. 2 (a) IN GENERAL.—Chapter 471 of title 49, United 3 States Code, is amended by inserting after section 47131 4 the following: 5 ‘‘§ 47132. Treatment of airports reclassified from 6 small to medium hub airports 7 ‘‘With respect to the application of law and regula- 8 tion, the owner or operator of a small hub airport that, 9 in fiscal year 2021 or any succeeding fiscal year, is des- 10 ignated as a medium hub airport, may elect to be treated 11 as a small hub airport for any period of up to 5 consecu- 12 tive fiscal years, beginning with the fiscal year in which 13 the small hub airport is to be designated as a medium 14 hub airport.’’. 15 (b) CLERICAL AMENDMENT.—The analysis for chap- 16 ter 471 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by 17 inserting after the item relating to section 47131 the fol- 18 lowing: 19 ‘‘47132. Treatment of airports reclassified from small to medium hub airports.’’.
