formed pursuant to that Act to evaluate for the increase and decrease
of interest rates, and for other purposes.

Mr. SHERMAN introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Financial Services
A BILL
To amend the Financial Stability Act of 2010 to require
stress tests performed pursuant to that Act to evaluate
for the increase and decrease of interest rates, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Effective Bank Regula-
4
tion Act’’.

SEC. 2. STRESS TEST SCENARIO.
6
Section 165(i)(1)(B)(i) of the Financial Stability Act
7
of 2010 (12 U.S.C. 5365(i)(1)(B)(i)) is amended—
