the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the
Committee on Rules and Administration
JOINT RESOLUTION
Providing for the reappointment of Roger W. Ferguson as
a citizen regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithso-
nian Institution.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives

of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

That in accordance with section 5581 of the Revised Stat-
3
utes of the United States (20 U.S.C. 43) the vacancy on
4
the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution, in
5
the class other than Members of Congress, occurring by
6
reason of the expiration of the term of Roger W. Ferguson
7
of Florida on April 25, 2023, is filled by the reappoint-
8
ment of the incumbent. The reappointment is for a term
