UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES FROM AF-

GHANISTAN.

(a) SUBMISSION OF CLASSIFIED DISSENT CABLES
5
TO CONGRESS.—Not later than 30 days after the date of
6
the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall sub-
7
mit to Congress any classified Department of State cable
8
or memo that expresses a dissenting recommendation or
9
opinion with respect to the withdrawal of the United
10
States Armed Forces from Afghanistan.

(b) PUBLIC AVAILABILITY OF UNCLASSIFIED DIS-
12
SENT CABLES.—Not later than 60 days after the date of
13
the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall
14
make available to the public an unclassified version of any
15
such cable or memo.

(c) PROTECTION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE IN-
17
FORMATION.—The name and any other personally identifi-
18
able information of an author of a cable or memo referred
19
to in subsection (a) shall be redacted before submission
20
under that subsection or publication under subsection (b).
