HR1442 - Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Heritage Boot Company in Austin.

      H.R. No. 1442       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Heritage Boot Company in Austin is marking the 20th   anniversary of its founding in 2025, and this occasion provides a   fitting opportunity to recognize the history and accomplishments of   this respected local enterprise; and          WHEREAS, Established by Jerry Ryan and his wife, Patti, in   2005, this iconic South Congress Avenue shop sells small-batch,   vintage-inspired cowboy boots handmade in a family-owned factory in   Mexico; through the years, the store has gained a loyal following   from around the world, becoming especially popular with collectors,   actors, and musicians; two longtime employees, Alie Twigger and   Kimber Breaux, along with Mrs. Twigger's husband, Steven, purchased   Heritage Boot during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the new owners have   worked tirelessly to uphold the company's reputation for excellence   ever since; and          WHEREAS, Local businesses play a vital role in the culture   and economy of the Lone Star State, and it is indeed a pleasure to   honor Heritage Boot Company for the high regard it has enjoyed in   the Austin community and beyond over the past 20 years; now,   therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commemorate the 20th anniversary of Heritage   Boot Company and extend to all those associated with the business   sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Bucy     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
