      H.R. No. 1419       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, The Honorable Prisma Y. Garcia was elected as the   District 4 representative on the Dallas Independent School District   Board of Trustees on May 3, 2025; and          WHEREAS, In carrying out the responsibilities of her office,   Ms. Garcia will be joining with the other members of the school   board to address urgent issues facing the Dallas ISD community, and   her work will have a lasting influence on the lives of the   district's students, faculty, and staff; and          WHEREAS, The essential mission of educating young Texans   depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our school board   trustees, and Prisma Garcia will draw on her insight and experience   as she takes on this challenging new role; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate the Honorable Prisma Y. Garcia on   her election to the Dallas Independent School District Board of   Trustees and extend to her sincere best wishes for a successful term   in office; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Jones of Dallas     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
