HR1417 - Congratulating Maxie Johnson on his election to the Dallas City Council.

      H.R. No. 1417       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Maxie Johnson was elected as the District 4   representative on the Dallas City Council on May 3, 2025; and          WHEREAS, In carrying out the responsibilities of his office,   Mr. Johnson will be joining with the other members of the city   council to address urgent issues facing the community, and his work   will have a lasting influence on the daily lives of his fellow   citizens; and          WHEREAS, The effective operation of municipal government   depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our public servants,   and Maxie Johnson will draw on his insight and experience as he   takes on this challenging new role; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Maxie Johnson on his election to   the Dallas City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for a   successful term in office; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Johnson as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Jones of Dallas     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
