HR1411 - Commending Diego Antonio López for his service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer.

      H.R. No. 1411       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Diego Antonio López has distinguished himself in his   responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State   Representative Trey Martinez Fischer during the 89th Legislative   Session; and          WHEREAS, Mr. López previously served in Representative   Martinez Fischer's office in 2023, and during both sessions, he has   provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging   tasks, including conducting research, tracking legislation, and   providing information on topics such as climate and space efforts;   in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public   service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the   issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and          WHEREAS, A May 2025 graduate of The University of Texas at   Austin, Mr. López earned bachelor's degrees in government and the   Plan II Honors Program, with a Bridging Disciplines Programs   certificate in human rights and social justice and a Jefferson   Scholars Program certificate; he served as a staff writer for   several undergraduate student journals and took part in the Texas   Civic Ambassadors Program, Texas Moot Court, and the International   Religious Freedom Summit; a Lex fellow and Civitas Institute   fellow, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Pre-Law Honor Society and   Beta Theta Pi Fraternity as well as the Civic Engagement Alliance;   and          WHEREAS, Diego López has performed his duties as a   legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed   deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Diego Antonio López for his service as a   legislative aide in the office of State Representative Trey   Martinez Fischer and extend to him sincere best wishes for   continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. López as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Martinez Fischer     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
