      H.R. No. 1409       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Scott Poole has distinguished himself in his   responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State   Representative Trey Martinez Fischer during the 89th Legislative   Session; and          WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Poole has provided   vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,   including analyzing bills, assisting senior staff, conducting   policy research, and providing updates on water, energy, and   property tax issues; in addition to gaining valuable experience in   the field of public service, he has learned more about the   legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star   State; and          WHEREAS, Mr. Poole is a 2025 graduate of The University of   Texas at Austin, where he majored in government and history; during   his time at UT, he was named to the Dean's Honor List and was   recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa Distinguished College Scholar and a   Normandy Scholar; in addition to his academic achievements, he has   served as president and civic engagement alliance chair of TX Votes   and as a research assistant for UT law professor Richard Albert, and   he completed internships with the Annette Strauss Institute for   Civic Life as well as campaigns for congressional and statewide   offices; and          WHEREAS, Scott Poole has performed his duties as a   legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed   deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Scott Poole for his service as a   legislative aide in the office of State Representative Trey   Martinez Fischer and extend to him sincere best wishes for   continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Poole as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Martinez Fischer     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
