      H.R. No. 1366       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Aidan Salazar has distinguished himself in his   responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State   Representative Marc LaHood during the 89th Legislative Session; and          WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Salazar has provided   vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;   in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public   service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the   issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and          WHEREAS, A native of Edinburg, Mr. Salazar recently earned   his bachelor's degree in political science with a special   concentration in international relations from Trinity University,   where he competed for the university's track and field team and was   an active member of Chi Delta Tau fraternity; in the future, he   plans to pursue a juris doctor degree and continue contributing to   active policy reform; and          WHEREAS, Aidan Salazar has performed his duties as a   legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed   deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Aidan Salazar for his service as a   legislative intern in the office of State Representative Marc   LaHood and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success   in all his endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Salazar as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     LaHood     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
