      H.R. No. 1364       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has ably served his fellow Texans as   chief of staff in the office of State Representative Marc LaHood   during the 89th Legislature; and          WHEREAS, Since becoming a legislative employee, Mr. Quaid   has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand;   handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, he has helped to shape   and carry forth the representative's legislative agenda in addition   to providing vital leadership and ensuring the efficient operation   of the office; he previously served as a legislative aide in the   office of State Representative James White; and          WHEREAS, A native of Minot, North Dakota, Mr. Quaid earned a   bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in journalism   from Texas State University, where he also led the Young   Conservatives of Texas; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and   support of his wife, Bailey, and he takes great pride in their son,   Oliver; and          WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his   duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, and he is indeed   deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Sebastian Quaid for his service as chief   of staff in the office of State Representative Marc LaHood and   extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his   endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Quaid as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     LaHood     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
