      H.R. No. 1363       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Olivia Lopez has distinguished herself in her   responsibilities as a policy analyst in the office of State   Representative Marc LaHood during the 89th Legislative Session; and          WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Lopez has provided   vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,   including legislative research, bill analysis, and policy   development; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the   field of public service, she has learned more about the issues   facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and          WHEREAS, A native of San Antonio, Ms. Lopez graduated as   valedictorian of the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Class of 2024; she   is currently studying neuroscience and government at The University   of Texas at Austin, where she competes on the undergraduate mock   trial team; she also conducts research in a biomedical diagnostics   lab focused on affordable and accessible disease testing, and prior   to enrolling at UT, she advocated for youth-centered initiatives as   a representative on the San Antonio Youth Commission; and          WHEREAS, Olivia Lopez has performed her duties as a policy   analyst with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of   special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Olivia Lopez for her service as a policy   analyst in the office of State Representative Marc LaHood and   extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Lopez as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     LaHood     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
