      H.R. No. 1320       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Africa Chamber of Commerce are   visiting the State Capitol on May 22, 2025; and          WHEREAS, The Texas Africa Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to   building robust diplomatic and economic ties between Texas and   Africa; in addition, it serves as a hub for members of the African   diaspora in Texas, providing them with access to resources,   opportunities, and networks that can help enhance entrepreneurial   success; and          WHEREAS, Over the past five years, TXACC has hosted eight   African heads of state and more than 50 ministers and ambassadors in   Texas, and it has organized multiple business delegations from the   state to Africa; the group has also fostered key public-private   partnerships and policy engagement efforts; and          WHEREAS, The Texas Africa Chamber of Commerce has played an   important role in increasing trade and investment opportunities   between Texas and the African continent, and all those associated   with the organization may take pride in their contributions to the   Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize May 22, 2025, as Texas Africa Chamber   of Commerce Day at the State Capitol and extend a warm welcome to   the visiting delegation.     Reynolds   Lalani     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
