      H.R. No. 1281       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Ella Ponthier has distinguished herself in her   responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State   Representative Cassandra Garcia Hernandez during the 89th   Legislative Session; and          WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ponthier has provided   vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,   including conducting policy research, assisting with   communications, and serving constituents; in addition to gaining   valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned   more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens   of the Lone Star State; and          WHEREAS, Ms. Ponthier holds a bachelor's degree in   linguistics and foreign languages from The University of Texas at   Austin and she graduated with a master's degree in global policy   studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT in   May 2025; and          WHEREAS, Ella Ponthier has performed her duties as a   legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed   deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Ella Ponthier for her service as a   legislative intern in the office of State Representative Cassandra   Garcia Hernandez and extend to her sincere best wishes for   continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Ponthier as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Garcia Hernandez     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
