      H.R. No. 1163       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Joshua Rodriguez, a senior at Horizon High School,   achieved great distinction by winning a silver medal at the 2025   University Interscholastic League Wrestling State Tournament; and          WHEREAS, Competing in the 5A 285-pound weight class,   Mr. Rodriguez joined the other top wrestlers in Texas at the Berry   Center in Cypress on February 14 and 15; demonstrating tremendous   skill and determination in all of his matches, he advanced through   the bracket to ultimately claim the silver medal; and          WHEREAS, Mr. Rodriguez has enjoyed notable success over the   course of his high school career; a three-time district champion,   he has placed at the regional meet three times and has made two   appearances at the state tournament; and          WHEREAS, By medaling in the premier showcase for Texas high   school wrestlers, Joshua Rodriguez has ably represented his school   and community, and he will long cherish his memories of this   outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Joshua Rodriguez on winning the   silver medal in the 5A 285-pound weight class at the 2025 UIL   Wrestling State Tournament and extend to him sincere best wishes   for continued success; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     González of El Paso     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
