      H.R. No. 1147       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Orlando Flores, a county extension agent for the   Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, has distinguished himself by   helping to manage the red flour beetle infestation in the El Paso   area; and          WHEREAS, In recent years, the West Texas region has   experienced outbreaks of red flour beetles, a small insect commonly   found in grocery products; Mr. Flores has played an instrumental   role in developing strategies to address the infestation, educating   local farmers and residents, and fostering collaboration to   mitigate the beetle's impact; his skills and knowledge have been   essential in safeguarding local ecosystems and supporting   agricultural sustainability; and          WHEREAS, Through his dedication, leadership, and expertise,   Orlando Flores has earned the respect and admiration of his   colleagues and fellow citizens alike, and it is a pleasure to join   in recognizing him for his contributions; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Orlando Flores of the Texas A&M AgriLife   Extension Service for helping to manage the red flour beetle   infestation in West Texas and extend to him sincere best wishes for   the future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Flores as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     González of El Paso     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
