      H.R. No. 1103       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Victoria Novak of Barbers Hill High School in Mont   Belvieu has been named the recipient of a 2025 Mont Belvieu Area   Chamber of Commerce Scholarship; and          WHEREAS, The Mont Belvieu Area Chamber of Commerce awards   scholarships to four graduating Barbers Hill High School seniors   each year; funded by the annual Barbers Hill Fall Fest, these $1,000   scholarships are granted to students who intend to earn a degree in   one of four fields: first responder, health care, teaching, or   counseling; and          WHEREAS, Ms. Novak plans to pursue a career as a pediatric   oncology nurse practitioner; during her high school career, she has   excelled academically while managing a challenging course load, and   she has also been involved in a number of extracurricular   activities, including the Health Occupations Students of America   organization and the Peer Assistance & Leadership program; and          WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this   outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing   her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Victoria Novak on her receipt of a   scholarship from the Mont Belvieu Area Chamber of Commerce and   extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her   endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Novak as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Leo Wilson     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
