      H.R. No. 1094       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Isabella Carrascal has distinguished herself in her   responsibilities as a communications intern in the office of State   Representative Gene Wu during the 89th Legislative Session; and          WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Carrascal has provided   vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,   and she has been instrumental in communicating information between   the office and its constituents; in addition to gaining valuable   experience in the field of public service, she has learned more   about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the   Lone Star State; and          WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin,   Ms. Carrascal is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in   government with a double minor in sociology and rhetoric; she is   also active on campus as a volunteer with Students Demand Action at   UTexas and Texas Political Consulting; and          WHEREAS, Isabella Carrascal has performed her duties as a   communications intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed   deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commend Isabella Carrascal for her service as a   communications intern in the office of State Representative Gene Wu   and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all   her endeavors; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Carrascal as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Wu     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
