HR1010 - Congratulating Lensey Sardar on her nomination for the 2025 Plano ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year award.

      H.R. No. 1010       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Lensey Sardar of Plano East Senior High School has   been nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District   Secondary Teacher of the Year award; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, Ms. Sardar has enjoyed a rewarding career in   education that has spanned 18 years, and she currently teaches   English in the IB World School at Plano East Senior High; after   graduating with a bachelor's degree in English from Texas Tech   University, she went on to earn her master of education degree from   Texas Woman's University, and she completed the principal   certification program at The University of Texas at Arlington; and          WHEREAS, Lensey Sardar exemplifies the passion,   determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our   best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all   in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Lensey Sardar on her nomination for   the 2025 Plano Independent School District Secondary Teacher of the   Year award and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued   success with her important work; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Sardar as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Noble     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
