      H.R. No. 1005       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Emily Darien of Isaacs Early Childhood School has   been nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District   Elementary Teacher of the Year award; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, A native of Plano, Ms. Darien began teaching at   Isaacs Early Childhood School in 2016; she graduated from Plano   Senior High School and went on to attend Southern Methodist   University, where she majored in political science and   international studies; and          WHEREAS, Emily Darien exemplifies the passion,   determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our   best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all   in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Emily Darien on her nomination for   the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary Teacher of   the Year award and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued   success with her important work; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Darien as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Noble     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
