      H.R. No. 874       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Three members of Scouting America Troop No. 212 in   Houston have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this   accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and          WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor   bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting   movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria,   these fine young Texans earned the requisite 21 merit badges and   successfully completed Eagle Scout projects of benefit to their   community; and          WHEREAS, The new Eagle Scouts of Troop No. 212 include Landon   Isaiah Bogar, Greyson Alec'Zander Baskin, and Carl Jude Jackson;   these young men have demonstrated outstanding leadership ability   throughout their scouting careers, winning the respect and   admiration of their fellow troop members as they worked toward the   highest rank that the organization offers; and          WHEREAS, The dedication to excellence and the perseverance in   the pursuit of their goals that these Eagle Scouts have displayed   have proven them worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and they   may indeed reflect with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be   it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Landon Isaiah Bogar, Greyson   Alec'Zander Baskin, and Carl Jude Jackson on achieving the rank of   Eagle Scout and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued   success and happiness; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the troop as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Simmons     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
