      H.R. No. 858       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, The Reverend Allen Page III of Metropolitan   Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Houston is serving as   Pastor of the Day for the Texas House of Representatives on May 6,   2025; and          WHEREAS, A native of Columbus, Georgia, Reverend Page is a   graduate of Morehouse College and the Phillips School of Theology   at the Interdenominational Theological Center; he has more than 25   years of ministerial experience, a decade of which has been spent   serving Metropolitan CME; moreover, he is the director of   accounting for the Eighth Episcopal District, as well as the   treasurer of its Southeast Texas Region and Houston District, and   he is a member of the General Connectional Board of the Christian   Methodist Episcopal Church; and          WHEREAS, Allen Page exemplifies the highest standards of his   vocation, and over the years, he has inspired countless Texans   through his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby honor the Reverend Allen Page III for his   service as Pastor of the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes   for continued success and fulfillment in his ministry; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Reverend Page as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Simmons     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
