      H.R. No. 832       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, March 24, 2025, was indeed a special day for Texas   Capitol staffers and other patrons of the Capitol Grill, for on that   day, the breakfast bowl made its long-awaited return to the menu;   and          WHEREAS, Up until early 2020, breakfast bowl aficionados   enjoyed ready access to this popular menu item during morning hours   at the Capitol Grill; the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the operations   of the cafeteria, and when the grill reopened, the breakfast bowl   was absent from the new menu, much to the disappointment of its   loyal fans; as the 89th Legislature got under way in January 2025,   some feared that the loss of the breakfast bowl might lead to a   harmful reduction in staff morale and morning productivity at the   statehouse; and          WHEREAS, Fortunately, a grassroots coalition of nostalgic   staffers and anonymous social media posters joined together to   focus public attention on the issue; thanks to their efforts, the   bowl is back, and customers can once again avail themselves of this   beloved combination of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese in a fried   tortilla shell, with a choice of chorizo or sausage; and          WHEREAS, Capitol staffers work long hours during the   legislative session, and the renewed availability of this breakfast   favorite will help ensure they have the sustenance they need to   complete their important work; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commemorate the return of the breakfast bowl to   the Capitol Grill menu and extend sincere appreciation to all those   who helped make this much-loved morning treat available once again.     Leo Wilson     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
