HR766 - Congratulating Felix Lopez of Southwest Legacy High School on being named KSAT's Educator of the Month.

      H.R. No. 766       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Felix Lopez, head custodian of Southwest Legacy High   School in San Antonio, was named the KSAT Educator of the Month in   March 2025; and          WHEREAS, Each month throughout the school year, San Antonio's   KSAT news station partners with Firstmark Credit Union to honor an   area educator who has positively impacted their students and   community; and          WHEREAS, Mr. Lopez has served the Southwest Independent   School District for nearly three decades; widely admired for his   exceptional work ethic, he is dedicated to fostering a positive and   safe learning environment for students and faculty; moreover, he   frequently goes above and beyond his duties, and he has assisted as   a DJ at school dances and other events; and          WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Lopez benefits from the   love and support of his wife, Elizabeth, who also works at Southwest   Legacy High School as a cafeteria attendant; and          WHEREAS, Over the course of his career, Felix Lopez has   demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Southwest ISD students and   staff, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his outstanding   record of service; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Felix Lopez on being named the KSAT   Educator of the Month and extend to him sincere best wishes for the   future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Lopez as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Lujan     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
