      H.R. No. 664       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Terriny Pace of Killeen High School closed out her   senior year of competition in triumphant fashion, winning a state   title at the 2025 Texas High School Women's Powerlifting   Association 6A State Championship; and          WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school lifters in Texas   at the state meet in Edinburg on March 12, Ms. Pace delivered an   exceptional performance in the 242-plus-pound weight class;   hoisting a personal-best and meet-record 545 pounds in the squat,   225 pounds in the bench press, and 470 pounds in the dead lift, she   racked up 1,240 total pounds to clinch the state crown; and          WHEREAS, Ms. Pace ranks among the best lifters in the state,   and she has received a full scholarship to attend Midland   University, where she will compete in powerlifting; and          WHEREAS, Winning a state championship represents the   culmination of countless hours of hard work and an unwavering   commitment to excellence, and Terriny Pace may indeed reflect with   pride on this outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Terriny Pace on winning the state   title in the 242-plus-pound weight class at the 2025 THSWPA 6A State   Championship and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued   success; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Pace as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Buckley     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
