HR614 - Recognizing April 15, 2025, as Ismaili CIVIC Advocacy Day of Service.

      H.R. No. 614       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Ismaili CIVIC Advocacy Day of Service is taking   place at the State Capitol on April 15, 2025, providing a fitting   opportunity to recognize the Ismaili CIVIC organization for its   unwavering commitment to volunteerism and community engagement and   its efforts to foster unity, compassion, and mutual respect among   diverse groups; and          WHEREAS, Ismaili CIVIC, an international initiative of the   Shia Ismaili Muslim community, exemplifies these values by   mobilizing volunteers globally to serve their communities through   meaningful service projects that improve the quality of life for   individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of faith, gender, or   ethnicity; and          WHEREAS, Drawing upon a centuries-old tradition of   volunteerism and compassion, Ismaili CIVIC embodies the principles   of good citizenship, community development, and pluralism by   undertaking activities that address local needs and foster   understanding and peace; and          WHEREAS, Members of the Ismaili community in Texas actively   participate in civic initiatives through volunteerism, advocacy,   and community service, reflecting the shared values of kindness,   compassion, and care for those in need; and          WHEREAS, Recognizing and celebrating such contributions   reinforces the collective commitment of Texans to building   inclusive, vibrant, and compassionate communities; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize April 15, 2025, as Ismaili CIVIC   Advocacy Day of Service and commend the Ismaili community for its   ongoing dedication to bettering civil society through voluntary   service, community upliftment, and civic engagement; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ismaili CIVIC as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Lalani     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
