HR501 - Recognizing March 11, 2025, as Lone Star Economic Alliance Day at the State Capitol.

      H.R. No. 501       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Members of the Lone Star Economic Alliance are   gathering at the State Capitol on March 11, 2025; and          WHEREAS, Founded in 2024, LSEA is a diverse coalition of   trade associations, citizens, and businesses of all sizes; with a   membership of more than 1,000, the alliance represents a wide range   of critical industries across the state, including transportation,   agriculture, construction, finance, food and beverage, home   services, housing, law, medical supplies, and oil and gas; and          WHEREAS, The organization works to foster a   business-friendly environment, advocating for policies that allow   employers to increase job creation while providing affordable goods   and services to Texas families; and          WHEREAS, Placing a special focus on the cost of litigation   for Texas companies, LSEA works to raise awareness of how the large   volume of lawsuits has led to increases in liability insurance   premiums, which can result in higher prices for consumers; and          WHEREAS, The members of the Lone Star Economic Alliance have   demonstrated a commitment to strengthening the Texas business   economy, and it is indeed a pleasure to welcome them to Austin; now,   therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize March 11, 2025, as Lone Star Economic   Alliance Day at the State Capitol and extend to the delegation   sincere best wishes for an enjoyable visit.     McQueeney     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
