      H.R. No. 469       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Moo-Moo has opened its third location in Port   Lavaca, providing a fitting opportunity to recognize the popular   fried chicken restaurant; and          WHEREAS, Founded by Milton Neitsch Sr., the first Moo-Moo   restaurant was built on South Moody Street in Victoria in 1966;   after 45 years of working in the business established by his father,   Lewis Neitsch sold the restaurant to a fellow Victoria resident in   2015; and          WHEREAS, The new owner, Mark Shoemake, retained the beloved   eatery's menu and staff; he opened a second Moo-Moo location in   Victoria in 2017, and the new Port Lavaca restaurant opened in   January 2025; Moo-Moo has been voted "Best Fried Chicken" by   Victoria Advocate readers many times; and          WHEREAS, Since its inception nearly six decades ago, Moo-Moo   has won the loyalty and appreciation of generations of customers,   and the restaurant's new location is sure to be a welcome addition   to the Port Lavaca community; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby congratulate Moo-Moo on the opening of its third   location and extend to owner Mark Shoemake and his staff sincere   best wishes for continued success with this new venture; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the restaurant as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Lozano     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
