HR373 - Recognizing February 25, 2025, as Texas Association of Charitable Clinics Day at the State Capitol.

      H.R. No. 373       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Association of Charitable   Clinics are gathering at the State Capitol on February 25, 2025; and          WHEREAS, TXACC was founded in March 2005 as the Lone Star   Association of Charitable Clinics in order to provide support and   resources to free and charitable clinics across the state; the   organization opened its first physical office in Austin in the fall   of 2007, and it assumed its current name in 2015; and          WHEREAS, Today, TXACC is a network of more than 75   independent clinics that provide quality medical care to over   220,000 Texans at little or no cost each year; in fulfilling its   mission, the association offers its members a wide range of   benefits and services, including education, advocacy, and   research, as well as assistance in securing grants and acquiring   medical equipment; and          WHEREAS, For two decades, the Texas Association of Charitable   Clinics has worked to make health care services more accessible to   those who may otherwise go without, and its efforts have made a   positive difference in the lives of countless Texans; now,   therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize February 25, 2025, as Texas   Association of Charitable Clinics Day at the State Capitol and   extend a warm welcome to the visiting delegation; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for TXACC as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Bhojani     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
