HR333 - Recognizing the 2025 Bob Bullock Scholars of Baylor University.

      H.R. No. 333       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to   recognize the Bob Bullock Scholars Program of Baylor University and   this year's participants in the initiative; and          WHEREAS, Established in 2000 to honor the memory of   Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock, this exemplary program promotes   the study of politics among Baylor University students; and          WHEREAS, Each participant in the program works for a House or   Senate member on a full-time basis during the legislative session   to learn firsthand about Texas government; the Bob Bullock Scholars   Program is a model for those who seek to serve others through a   career in public service; and          WHEREAS, Dr. Patrick J. Flavin, the Bob Bullock Professor of   Political Science at Baylor University, has served as the director   of the program since 2021; and          WHEREAS, The six Bob Bullock Scholars participating in the   2025 session of the Texas Legislature are: Annabel Curtis with   Representative John H. Bucy III, Molly Brown with Representative   Jeff Leach, Mady Miller with Representative Lacey Hull, Hayden Head   with Senator Brent Hagenbuch, Rhea Nijjar with Senator Judith   Zaffirini, and Sophia Whetstone with Senator Royce West; and          WHEREAS, These public-spirited students are to be commended   for their participation and interest in state government; now,   therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize the 2025 Bob Bullock Scholars of   Baylor University and commend all those associated with the program   for their outstanding contributions; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the program's participants as an expression of high   regard by the Texas House of Representatives.     Leach     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
