HR330 - Recognizing March 5, 2025, as IMPACT Pasadena Day at the State Capitol.

      H.R. No. 330       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, March 5, 2025, is being recognized as IMPACT   Pasadena Day at the State Capitol; and          WHEREAS, The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is committed to   promoting economic development and ensuring the prosperity of   Pasadena's businesses and citizens, and its IMPACT Pasadena   Leadership Program brings together leaders from the city's business   and industry, community, government, health care, and education   sectors; and          WHEREAS, Focused on economic viability, social   sustainability, and community engagement, IMPACT Pasadena consists   of a yearlong cohort-based learning experience that helps   participants build personal and professional skills and   relationships and engage in collective problem-solving; the   program aims to create a community climate that is poised for   business growth, industry expansion, and project development;   since 2019, more than 50 community leaders have graduated from   IMPACT Pasadena, and there are currently 15 participants in the   2025 program; and          WHEREAS, IMPACT Pasadena enables participants to be involved   in the positive change that can occur when government, business   leaders, and community partners work together toward a common good,   and all those associated with the program may take pride in their   contributions to the city's vitality; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize March 5, 2025, as IMPACT Pasadena Day   at the State Capitol and commend those participating in the   Pasadena Chamber of Commerce IMPACT Pasadena Leadership Program;   and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the chamber as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Perez of Harris     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
