      H.R. No. 315       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Buenos Aires Café in Austin is celebrating its 20th   anniversary in 2025; and          WHEREAS, Motivated by a desire to share the cuisine of her   Argentinian culture, chef Reina Morris opened the popular dining   establishment in 2005; since then, she has worked alongside her   daughter, Paola Guerrero-Smith, who leads the restaurant's   business operations, marketing, and wine curation;   Ms. Guerrero-Smith also launched its underground speakeasy bar,   Milonga Room, as well as its Vinos del Sur project, which showcases   boutique South American wines; and          WHEREAS, One of only a few Argentinian restaurants in Austin,   Buenos Aires Café has attracted customers from across the city, who   come to sample its wide variety of grilled fare as well as its   empanadas and pastries; in 2025, the restaurant was recognized by   Infatuation as one of the best on Austin's east side, and it won the   Austin Chronicle 's "Best of Austin" readers' choice poll in the   South American category in 2022, 2023, and 2024; and          WHEREAS, Over the course of two decades, Buenos Aires Café   has gained a loyal following and established itself as a local   institution, and it is a pleasure to recognize the restaurant and   the reputation for excellence that it has achieved; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commemorate the 20th anniversary of Buenos Aires   Café and extend to all those associated with the restaurant sincere   best wishes for the future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Buenos Aires Café as an expression of high regard by   the Texas House of Representatives.     Flores     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
