      H.R. No. 268       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Proud representatives of the Fenoglio Boot Company   are gathering in Austin on February 18 to 20, 2025, in celebration   of Fenoglio Boot Company Day at the State Capitol; and          WHEREAS, In 1886, the Fenoglio family settled in Nocona, a   frequent stop for cowboys driving cattle along the Chisholm Trail;   after the founder of the famous Nocona Boot Company, Enid Justin,   passed away in 1990, the Fenoglio Boot Company was established,   keeping alive the town's tradition of manufacturing leather goods;   and          WHEREAS, Today, the business sources a wide array of leathers   from around the world to create its boots, which feature   all-leather outsoles and insoles, stacked leather heels, and wood   peg construction; skilled employees, some with decades of   experience, craft the boots by hand in Texas; and          WHEREAS, Honoring its heritage as it embraces the   opportunities of the future, the Fenoglio Boot Company has played   an important role in enhancing its community's economic vitality,   and all those associated with the business may take pride in their   contributions to the area; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby recognize February 18 to 20, 2025, as Fenoglio   Boot Company Day at the State Capitol and extend a warm welcome to   the visiting delegation; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the business as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Spiller     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
