      H.R. No. 257       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Starr County Memorial Hospital is celebrating its   50th anniversary in 2025; and          WHEREAS, Established in Rio Grande City in 1975, Starr County   Memorial Hospital is a progressive, acute care general medical   center with a Level IV trauma certification; today, the hospital   features 48 beds, and it operates the Rural Health Clinic, the Roma   Family Health Clinic, and the Dr. Mario E. Ramirez Imaging Center;   and          WHEREAS, Starr County Memorial Hospital offers inpatient,   outpatient, and emergency care in a wide variety of medical   specialties, including surgery, obstetric and pediatric services,   wound care, cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal treatments, and   nutritional guidance; the hospital is licensed by the State of   Texas and accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid   Services; and          WHEREAS, For five decades, Starr County Memorial Hospital has   remained a trusted source for high-quality care in the Rio Grande   City area, and the sterling reputation it has built is a testament   to its many dedicated physicians, nurses, staff members, and   volunteers; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of Starr County   Memorial Hospital and extend to all those affiliated with the   institution sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Starr County Memorial Hospital as an expression of   high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.     Guillen     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
