      H.R. No. 159       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, The members of Kingdom Connection Worship Center in   Brownsville are celebrating the 14th anniversary of their church's   founding on January 23, 2025; and          WHEREAS, A multicultural, nondenominational institution   first organized in 2011, Kingdom Connection Worship Center has   benefited from the dedicated efforts of Pastors Dr. Donald J. Hamm   and Angelica Hamm, who lead the congregation today; and          WHEREAS, United by their shared faith and strong traditions,   the members of this notable house of worship have established a   variety of commendable programs that foster fellowship and offer   help to those in need, including a food distribution initiative   during the COVID-19 pandemic, Black history and Juneteenth   celebrations, and a collaboration with the South Texas Mass Choir;   and          WHEREAS, Countless Brownsville residents have looked to   Kingdom Connection Worship Center for spiritual guidance over the   years, and it is a pleasure to join in honoring the church at this   special time in its rich history; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby commemorate the 14th anniversary of Kingdom   Connection Worship Center and extend to the congregation sincere   best wishes for the future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.     Gámez     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
