      H.R. No. 109       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Proud citizens of Chambers County are gathering in   Austin on February 12, 2025, to celebrate Chambers County Day at the   State Capitol; and          WHEREAS, Chambers County is situated on some 600 square miles   of Gulf Coast plains, and the area has long played an integral role   in Texas history; Anahuac, which later became the county seat, was   where some of the first shots of the Texas Revolution were fired   during a confrontation in 1832 between Mexican military personnel   and a group of insurgents that included William B.
