      H.R. No. 93       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help to comfort   those saddened by the death of Inda Sorrels Williams of Marble Falls   on January 4, 2025, at the age of 66; and          WHEREAS, The daughter of Joe and Jeanine Sorrels, the former   Inda Sorrels was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on August 16,   1958, and she grew up with the companionship of her three siblings,   Stacy, Joe, and Bob; she graduated from Richardson High School in   1976, and she later earned an accounting degree from The University   of Texas at Austin in 1980; and          WHEREAS, Mrs. Williams shared a fulfilling union with her   loving husband, Alan, that spanned 42 years; she took great pride in   their two sons, Dustin and Tyler, and with the passing years, she   had the pleasure of seeing her family grow to include six   grandchildren; and          WHEREAS, Following her certification as a public accountant   in 1984, Mrs. Williams went on to own a private accounting firm for   two decades; in 2004, she joined her husband in becoming the   operator of a Chick-fil-A franchise, where she readily stepped in   to fill any role necessary up until her final days; and          WHEREAS, A deeply religious woman, Mrs. Williams drew   strength from her Christian beliefs and served as a mentor,   volunteer, and spiritual leader; after Mr. Williams was diagnosed   with cancer, she published The Power of a Caregiver in 2017 as part   of her Transformational Adventure ministry, and the couple later   published four more books themed around the faith experience when   faced with the challenges of cancer; and          WHEREAS, Inda Williams lived a rich and purposeful life   centered around her family and her faith, and she will long be   remembered with deep affection by all who knew her; now, therefore,   be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Inda Sorrels   Williams and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:   to her husband, Alan Williams; to her sons, Tyler Williams and his   wife, Devin, and Dustin Williams and his wife, Morgan; to her   siblings, Stacy Goodwin and her husband, Robert, Joe Sorrels and   his wife, Evelyn, and Bob Sorrels; to her sister-in-law, Karen   Gillenwaters, and her husband, James; to her grandchildren,   Brodie-Anne, IndieRose, Ben Walker, Brighton Jane, Tyson, and   Judah; and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of   Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Inda   Williams.     Troxclair     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
