SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Countering CCP 2 Drones Act’’. 3 SEC. 2. ADDITION OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES 4 OF DJI TECHNOLOGIES TO COVERED LIST. 5 (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 2(c) of the Secure and 6 Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019 (47 7 U.S.C. 1601(c)) is amended by adding at the end the fol- 8 lowing: 9 ‘‘(5) The communications equipment or service 10 being— 11 ‘‘(A) telecommunications or video surveil- 12 lance equipment produced by Shenzhen Da- 13 Jiang Innovations Sciences and Technologies 14 Company Limited (commonly known as ‘DJI 15 Technologies’) (or any subsidiary or affiliate 16 thereof); or 17 ‘‘(B) telecommunications or video surveil- 18 lance services, including software, provided by 19 an entity described in subparagraph (A) or 20 using equipment described in such subpara- 21 graph.’’. 22 (b) CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.—Section 2 of the 23 Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 24 2019 (47 U.S.C. 1601) is amended by striking ‘‘para- 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 04:12 Sep 11, 2024 Jkt 049200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H2864.RFS H2864 kjohnson on DSK7ZCZBW3PROD with $$_JOB 3 HR 2864 RFS graphs (1) through (4)’’ each place it appears and insert- 1 ing ‘‘paragraphs (1) through (5)’’. 2 Passed the House of Representatives September 9, 2024.
