Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No More Political Pros-
4
ecutions Act of 2023’’.
5
SEC. 2. REMOVAL OF CERTAIN ACTIONS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Section 1442(a) of title 28, United
7
States Code, is amended—
8
(1) in paragraph (3), by striking the semicolon
9
and inserting a period; and
10
(2) by adding at the end the following:
11
‘‘(5) The President or Vice President, or a former
12
President or Vice President.’’.
13
(b) APPLICATION.—The amendments made by sub-
14
section (a) shall apply to civil actions or criminal prosecu-
15
tions pending on the date of enactment of this Act or com-
16
menced on or after such date.
