A BILL
To amend title 46, United States Code, to repeal provisions
relating to transportation by water that are popularly
known as the Jones Act, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Jones Act Repeal Act’’.

SEC. 2. REPEAL OF PROVISIONS POPULARLY KNOWN AS
5
THE JONES ACT.

Title 46, United States Code, is amended by repeal-

ing the following provisions:
