For the relief of Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio and Luisa
Mariana Sifuentes Arbirio.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS FOR IVANA AL-
3
EXANDRA SIFUENTES ARBIRIO AND LUISA
4
MARIANA SIFUENTES ARBIRIO.
5
(a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding subsections (a)
6
and (b) of section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality
7
Act, Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio and Luisa Mar-
8
iana Sifuentes Arbirio shall each be eligible for issuance
9
of an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status to that
10

of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence
1
upon filing an application for issuance of an immigrant
2
visa under section 204 of such Act or for adjustment of
3
status to lawful permanent resident.

(b) ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.—If Ivana Alexandra
5
Sifuentes Arbirio or Luisa Mariana Sifuentes Arbirio
6
enter the United States before the filing deadline specified
7
in subsection (d), she or he shall be considered to have
8
entered and remained lawfully and shall, if otherwise eligi-
9
ble, be eligible for adjustment of status under section 245
10
of the Immigration and Nationality Act as of the date of
11
the enactment of this Act.

(c) WAIVER OF GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OR DENIAL
13
OF ADMISSION.—

(1) IN
GENERAL.—Notwithstanding sections
15
212(a) and 237(a) of the Immigration and Nation-
16
ality Act, Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio and
17
Luisa Mariana Sifuentes Arbirio may not be re-
18
moved from the United States, denied admission to
19
the United States, or considered ineligible for lawful
20
permanent residence in the United States by reason
21
of any ground for removal or denial of admission
22
that is reflected in the records of the Department of
23
Homeland Security or the Visa Office of the Depart-

ment of State on the date of the enactment of this

Act.

(2) RESCISSION OF OUTSTANDING ORDER OF
3
REMOVAL.—The Secretary of Homeland Security
4
shall rescind any outstanding order of removal or de-
5
portation, or any finding of inadmissibility or de-
6
portability, that has been entered against Ivana Al-
7
exandra Sifuentes Arbirio and Luisa Mariana
8
Sifuentes Arbirio by reason of any ground described
9
in paragraph (1).

(d) DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF
11
FEES.—Subsections (a) and (b) shall apply only if the ap-
12
plication for issuance of an immigrant visa or the applica-
13
tion for adjustment of status is filed with appropriate fees
14
within 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.

(e) REDUCTION
OF IMMIGRANT VISA NUMBER.—
16
Upon the granting of an immigrant visa or permanent res-
17
idence to Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio and Luisa
18
Mariana Sifuentes Arbirio, the Secretary of State shall in-
19
struct the proper officer to reduce by 2, during the current
20
or next following fiscal year, the total number of immi-
21
grant visas that are made available to natives of the coun-
22
try of the alien’s birth under section 203(a) of the Immi-
23
gration and Nationality Act or, if applicable, the total
24
number of immigrant visas that are made available to na-

tives of the country of the alien’s birth under section

202(e) of such Act.

(f) DENIAL OF PREFERENTIAL IMMIGRATION TREAT-
3
MENT FOR CERTAIN RELATIVES.—The natural parents,
4
brothers, and sisters of Ivana Alexandra Sifuentes Arbirio
5
and Luisa Mariana Sifuentes Arbirio shall not, by virtue
6
of such relationship, be accorded any right, privilege, or
7
status under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
