A BILL
To prohibit the retention of incidentally acquired communica-
tions in the course of intelligence collection activities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PROHIBITION OF RETENTION OF INCIDEN-

TALLY ACQUIRED COMMUNICATIONS IN THE

COURSE OF INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION AC-
5
TIVITIES.

Section 309(b)(3)(A) of the Intelligence Authoriza-
7
tion Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (50 U.S.C. 1813) is amend-
8
ed by striking ββand shall permit the acquisition, retention,
