To prohibit in-person instructional requirements during the
COVID–19 emergency.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Don’t Punish Schools
4
for Uncontrolled Pandemics Act of 2020’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF IN-PERSON INSTRUCTIONAL RE-

QUIREMENTS
DURING
COVID–19

GENCY.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no rule,

regulation, guidance, or policy regarding an applicable

emergency, as declared by a Federal, State, or local au-
