Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Healthy Skies Act’’. 4 SEC. 2. TSA TEMPERATURE SCREENING PILOT PROGRAM. 5 (a) IN GENERAL.—In order to promote the safety of 6 the traveling public during the COVID-19 public health 7 emergency or other pandemic or public health emergency, 8 VerDate Sep 11 2014 05:48 Aug 05, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H7651.IH H7651 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 7651 IH the Administrator of the Transportation Security Admin- 1 istration (the ‘‘Administrator’’) shall carry out a pilot pro- 2 gram at a minimum of 10 airports selected by the Admin- 3 istrator to establish and test procedures to screen all pas- 4 sengers for their temperatures before such passengers pro- 5 ceed through security into the sterile area.
