To impose a 1-year minimum prison sentence for the
destruction of veterans’ memorials.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Washington-Grant
4
Historic Preservation Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. MINIMUM SENTENCE.
6
Section 1369(a) of title 18, United States Code, is
7
amended by striking ‘‘shall be fined’’ and all that follows
8
and inserting ‘‘shall be—
9
‘‘(1) fined under this title; and
