Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 2 † S 4079 ES SECTION 1. APPROVAL NOT REQUIRED TO VALIDATE CER- 1 TAIN LAND TRANSACTIONS OF THE SEMI- 2 NOLE TRIBE OF FLORIDA. 3 (a) IN GENERAL.—Not withstanding any other provi- 4 sion of law, without further approval, ratification, or au- 5 thorization by the United States, the Seminole Tribe of 6 Florida may lease, sell, convey, warrant, or otherwise 7 transfer all or any part of the interest of the Seminole 8 Tribe of Florida in any real property that is not held in 9 trust by the United States for the benefit of the Seminole 10 Tribe of Florida. 11 (b) TRUST LAND NOT AFFECTED.—Nothing in this 12 section— 13 (1) authorizes the Seminole Tribe of Florida to 14 lease, sell, convey, warrant, or otherwise transfer all 15 or any part of an interest in any real property that 16 is held in trust by the United States for the benefit 17 of the Seminole Tribe of Florida; or 18 (2) affects the operation of any law governing 19 leasing, selling, conveying, warranting, or otherwise 20 transferring any interest in any real property that is 21 3 † S 4079 ES held in trust by the United States for the benefit of 1 the Seminole Tribe of Florida. 2 Passed the Senate December 18, 2020.
