DISTRIBUTION OF CERTAIN FUNDS APPROPRIATED 1 FOR THE COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK 2 GRANT ACT. 3 (a) DISTRIBUTION OF CARES ACT FUNDS TO 4 STATES.—Section 675B(b)(3) of the Community Services 5 Block Grant Act (42 U.S.C. 9906(b)(3)) shall not apply 6 with respect to funds appropriated by the CARES Act 7 (Public Law 116–136) to carry out the Community Serv- 8 ices Block Grant Act (42 U.S.C. 9901 et seq.). 9 (b) INCREASED POVERTY LINE.—For purposes of 10 carrying out the Community Services Block Grant Act (42 11 U.S.C. 9901 et seq.) with any funds appropriated for any 12 of the fiscal years 2020, 2021, and 2022 for such Act, 13 the term ‘‘poverty line’’ as defined in section 673(2) of 14 such Act (42 U.S.C. 9902(2)) means 200 percent of the 15 poverty line otherwise applicable under such section (ex- 16 cluding the last sentence of such section) without regard 17 to this subsection. 18 (c) DISTRIBUTION OF CARES ACT FUNDS BY 19 STATES TO ELIGIBLE ENTITIES.—Funds appropriated by 20 the CARES Act (Public Law 116–136) to carry out the 21 Community Services Block Grant Act (42 U.S.C. 9901 et 22 seq.) and received by a State shall be made available to 23 eligible entities (as defined in section 673(1)(A) of such 24 Act (42 U.S.C. 9902(1)(A)) not later than either 30 days 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 03:49 Jul 11, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H7328.IH H7328 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 3 •HR 7328 IH after such State receives such funds or 30 days after the 1 date of the enactment of this Act, whichever occurs later. 2 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 03:49 Jul 11, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H7328.IH H7328 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS
